Brightwave's client Canon needed a bright idea to communicate important messages about IT security to their staff. We worked closely with Brightwave to develop the concept of a floating head comedy character. Once a month for a year a new clip featuring the character popped up on the desktops of Canon staff around the world. The clips were subtitled into several languages. The iconic nature of the design also lent itself well to incorporation of the character into a series of posters to accompany the video which were refreshed each month along with the videos.
The production presented some interesting technical challenges as all of the characters were played by a single actor who often had to "talk to himself".
